Waiting for Fall

Pre-season football has started and I am in the mood for some cooler weather!  Yeah I know.....it will be awhile here in Florida before we see any of that.  I wire wrapped some of my favorite disk beads and love how they turned out

Almost August

Wow...what a busy summer this has turned out to be!  Been celebrating birthdays, long weekends out of town with friends and family and WOW....it is almost August.  Can't say I am sad to see summer closing soon.  For us Floridians, that means cooler temps are on the horizon!  I have been trying to get in a few sessions at the torch and play with some new glass.  I am already feeling the Fall colors creeping their way into my creations!

Oldie but a goodie

I thought I would post some pictures of some older pieces that I have sold.  This is one of my favorites!  

I had made the lampwork striped beads awhile ago and decided to mix it up with chain, enameled washers and finish up with a stone and key.  I love it…..I might have to make another like it!

Boho Necklace Possibly?

I love these colors together!  

I was tempted to make a single pendant necklace with each of these rod beads but I have decided to incorporate them into a long boho necklace.  I have always loved long necklaces……they always go well with the very simplest of outfits!  Should I keep it blue and green or add in some other citrus colors….hmmmmmm.  Well check back to my Etsy store soon to see what I created with these beauties!

Beach Inspired

Every time I visit the coast, I come home and want to make a ton of beach inspired jewelry! 

 I incorporated my lampwork beads into this piece.  I might have to experiment at the torch with making glass coral…..I am sure I could make it happen but would it look as good as that cute coral charm hanging on this piece?  Probably going to try that this week!

A Gift!

Aren’t these colors cool? 

 I think they are so I decided to the the middle lampwork beads I made (dotted ones) and build a pretty necklace around them.  I love how it turned out and it goes with more than you think it would.  This is going to my niece.  I think she will love it and the cute billabong dress that matches it perfectly!

Shells!

I just got back from an awesome vacay with my family on the beach!  Celebrating my brother in law’s 50th birthday and relatives from everywhere came over to the coast.  What an awesome time we had!  I love, love, love the beach.  I love waking up each morning to the beautiful sound of waves crashing, the sun shining (we had beautiful weather) and the priceless time spent with my family!  

There were lots of shells on the beach that gave me tons of inspiration!  Back to creating!
