Beach Inspired

Every time I visit the coast, I come home and want to make a ton of beach inspired jewelry!

I incorporated my lampwork beads into this piece. I might have to experiment at the torch with making glass coral…..I am sure I could make it happen but would it look as good as that cute coral charm hanging on this piece? Probably going to try that this week!

A Gift!

Aren’t these colors cool?

I think they are so I decided to the the middle lampwork beads I made (dotted ones) and build a pretty necklace around them. I love how it turned out and it goes with more than you think it would. This is going to my niece. I think she will love it and the cute billabong dress that matches it perfectly!

Shells!

I just got back from an awesome vacay with my family on the beach! Celebrating my brother in law’s 50th birthday and relatives from everywhere came over to the coast. What an awesome time we had! I love, love, love the beach. I love waking up each morning to the beautiful sound of waves crashing, the sun shining (we had beautiful weather) and the priceless time spent with my family!

There were lots of shells on the beach that gave me tons of inspiration! Back to creating!

Striped with Summer

Wow have we had some beautiful weather here in Florida…..low to mid 80’s! In June!!!!!! How about that! It probably won’t last thoughL Our summers are brutal and they seem to last forever! That’s what our beaches and swimming pools are for…right? I made these pretty ovals awhile ago and just wrapped them up with some silver wire.

My plans are to make a pretty neck piece but will it be chunky or long and linky? Hmmmmm…..gotta think about it!

Stringers

Hot Creative Days

Happy Friday!

Wow….the temperatures are really heating up here in the Sunshine State! Heat index to reach 100 degrees!!!! Nooooo….its only May.

Oh well, I really cannot complain because we have had the most spectacular Spring this year. I pulled some stringers this week to melt onto to some beads.

I love combining colors in my stringers as you can see from the picture.

I just cleaned some really pretty bright colored beads that I made earlier this week. They turned out so pretty!
